aespa's NingNing Is Versace's Newest Global Brand Ambassador

On February 8, the Italian luxury label announced the big news via Instagram. In a black-and-white photograph, NingNing is dressed in a leather suit dress with buttons adorned with Versace's signature Medusa head.

Versace's own Donatella Versace also announced the news, along with a photo of herself and NingNing from the Versace Icons Dinner in Shanghai last October. Donatella is wearing an all-white outfit with a bodycon dress, knee-high heeled boots, and a shoulder bag, while NingNing is dressed in all-black with a slinky sequined slip dress, strappy heels, and a handbag. Donatella captioned the images with a heartfelt message about NingNing's new role. She wrote, "Today, NingNing joins the Versace family as a Global Brand Ambassador. She is not only a brilliantly talented star but also a wonderful person. She has a strong, confident vision, incredible energy, and talent, and she looks great in our clothes."

NingNing now joins an impressive list of brand ambassadors. Hyunjin of Stray Kids, who is also based in Seoul, South Korea, was named Versace's global ambassador in July 2023. Dua Lipa has also served as an ambassador for many years. She made her runway debut at Milan Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2022 show and collaborated with the brand on a special collection last year.

This news may not surprise die-hard aespa fans, known as MY. NingNing has been spotted in Versace several times. In addition to the Versace Icons Dinner in Shanghai, NingNing represented the brand on the red carpet of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
