Kylie Jenner Brings the Sparkle to Prada SS24

Emma Watson, Sofia Richie Grainge, Hunter Schafer, and Benedict Cumberbatch, in addition to Scarlett Johansson, were present. Prior to the performance, Jenner took selfies with Rosala while sitting between Edward Enninful and Rosala. (Cute admirers also noticed that a picture of Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet sharing a kiss was the new screensaver.)

Jenner came to the spring 2024 runway wearing an oval-shaped set of sunglasses, a black pair of pointy-toe shoes, and a bodycon mock neck dress with the brand's characteristic enamel inverted triangle logo shown on the neck. Her skirt, a net of pear-shaped Swarovski crystals that grew in size over time and left a row of stones dangling from the hem like water drops, was what really stole the show.

The made-to-order Prada skirt is a replica of the final look from the Italian label's spring 2010 runway. The original prismatic crystal skirt worn by Kate Kosushkina was worn over a white shirtdress. Jenner's interpretation demonstrates how the look can be worn more casually (or, as casually as one can wear a skirt made entirely of Swarovski crystals), in contrast to the significantly more dramatic 2010 ensemble, replete with a harsh side part and a vivid orange-red pout.

Recently, Jenner has started updating her own style. The founder of Lip Kit recently switched from her vintage logo-heavy outfit to a more elegant, understated look. While some of her outfits may have been more confusing than others, her Prada ensemble was a notable example of her new sense of style.
