"Keough will represent the brand at public events and appear in its advertising campaigns, such as the upcoming spring 2024 commercials."
In a press release issued from Paris on Thursday, the French luxury brand introduced the actress, producer, and director as its newest representative. She is best known as the daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley and the sole grandchild of the late Elvis Presley.
In her new position, Keough will represent the brand at public events and appear in its advertising campaigns, such as the upcoming spring 2024 commercials, which will be photographed by Virginie Viard, the creative director of Chanel.
For a full decade, Keough has been a devoted admirer of Chanel, routinely visiting the company's events and fashion presentations and donning the company's clothes on several red carpets. The "Daisy Jones and the Six" actress has previously sported Chanel clothing to premieres, the Golden Globes, and the company's own fashion shows, which this year included the runway presentations of its cruise 2023, fall 2023, and spring 2024 collections.
Keough joins Chanel's current roster of A-list ambassadors, which also includes Lily-Rose Depp, Kristen Stewart, Keira Knightley, Penelope Cruz, and Jennie (of the South Korean girl group Blackpink). Timothée Chalamet was appointed as the brand's newest brand ambassador for its men's Bleu de Chanel fragrance in May, according to the fashion house.
Keough has previously walked in fashion shows for brands including Dior and Dolce & Gabbana. Over the years, the "Girlfriend Experience" actress has additionally appeared in advertisements and gone to fashion shows for both of the aforementioned companies as well as Louis Vuitton.
