Anyone who has ever shopped for bras or shapewear knows that form and function do not always coincide when it comes to shaping essentials. There's a fine line between supportive and suffocating, and comfort often gets sacrificed in favor of a sleek silhouette. It's a struggle that women all over the world are familiar with, and Victoria's Secret is hoping to address it.
The new styles, the Body by Victoria Invisible Lift Demi Bra and the Body by Victoria Invisible Lift Minimizer Bra, were introduced on February 15. The former provides lightweight support with push-up bra impact without excessive padding, whereas the latter, available in cup sizes D-DD, provides full-coverage comfort. Wondering how the brand managed to fit so many features into such seamless bras? Simply put, VS possesses the technology.
These bras feature LYCRA® FitSense™ technology, blurring the distinction between shapewear and barely-there. Unlike previous push-up bras, Victoria's Secret's latest collection is designed for a seamless finish, with no poking wires or spongy padding. Instead, you have bras that look exactly like they should (invisible) while also providing the support you require.
The collection also includes matching underwear that provides the same smoothing effect as shapewear without the squeeze in thong, brief, and boy short silhouettes. In other words, the brand is giving its customers more comfort and control over their purchases. When it comes to shapewear, it does not get any cozier than this.
The Victoria's Secret Body by Victoria Collection, which includes cup sizes A to G and bands 30 to 44, is now available both online and in-store.
