Balenciaga taps Michelle Yeoh as brand ambassador

As the face of the brand's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, Michelle Yeoh, a legendary actress, producer, and internationally renowned martial artist, has joined Balenciaga as an official ambassador. Her close relationship with the fashion brand is well documented due to her numerous red carpet appearances in the brand's apparel.

In 2023, Yeoh donned only Balenciaga Haute Couture attire for the Cannes Film Festival. She wore it for the red carpet events as well as the dinner event hosted by Kering and the festival, where she was awarded the Women in Motion Award for her noteworthy contributions to the film industry and her capacity to motivate upcoming generations.

Throughout the course of her four-decade career, Yeoh has mastered a multitude of parts in a wide range of genres, from dramatic leading lady to action heroine. She made her acting debut in the 1980s, and since then, she has grown in popularity and influence across a variety of industries. Yeoh has won multiple accolades over her illustrious acting career, including the Golden Globe, the SAG Award, and the Academy Award, when she became the first Asian woman to win Best Actress.
