Blackpink's Jennie Debuts In Style Into Her Actor Era

Jennie is present at the event performing as an actor: She will be credited as Jennie Ruby Jane and will star in Sam Levinson's "The Idol," which had its world debut on Monday. She wore a white lace, tea-length Chanel Haute Couture dress from the Spring 2020 collection when she made her red carpet entrance for the new HBO series, which seems to have inspired the rest of her Cannes outfit choices.

The next day, Jennie showed up at the "The Idol" picture call wearing yet another chic tea-length dress in black and white, this time by Shushu/Tong.

For the picture call, she reversed the color scheme of her red carpet outfit and wore black with white embellishments. As a dedicated representative of the Chanel brand, Jennie accessorized with the company's Comète earrings and added a few of its silk satin bow barrettes to her braid.
