Calvin Klein's final spring 2024 campaign will star Jennie from the K-pop supergroup Blackpink, the brand announced on Tuesday. In new black-and-white photos, the singer poses for Mert Alas.
"The campaign magnifies Jennie's playful confidence and infuses Calvin Klein's emblematic Underwear and Jeans with her distinctive pop energy, elevating each style to icon status," according to a press release from the company.
Jennie debuted two new Calvin Klein underwear designs. The Intense Power collection updates classic silhouettes with a bold iteration of the Calvin Klein logo, while the Minimalist line is intended for "expressive, seductive comfort."
Jennie's campaign will be featured on Calvin Klein's social media channels throughout the week, as well as on billboards around the world.
The K-pop star was announced as a Calvin Klein spokesmodel in 2021, and she worked with the brand on a capsule collection of underwear and apparel last spring.
Stars such as BTS' Jung Kook, actress Camila Morrone, and Jeremy Allen White have posed for Calvin Klein's spring 2024 campaign, with the latter generating $12.7 in media coverage for the brand in just 48 hours.
Jennie is Chanel's house ambassador, having appeared in advertisements for the French label's clothing, jewelry, and handbags. She has also appeared in campaigns for Jacquemus and Hera, a luxury beauty brand from South Korea.
