Kim Kardashian showed out to celebrate the debut of Skims' collaboration with Swarovski. She looked amazing, as always (I SAID WHAT I SAID), wearing a top made completely of enormous crystals with nothing below and a skirt covered in crystals.
Speaking with Elle about the collection, Kim—who collaborated with Giovanna Engelbert, the Creative Director of Swarovski—explained that it's a "natural pairing and dream for me, as I've always been a Swarovski girl." I hope that when our clients wear the collection, the Swarovski crystals and the brand's elegance provide them the same happiness. I've always wanted to combine my passion for jewelry design with ready-to-wear, so it made perfect sense to combine Skims' cutting-edge textiles with Swarovski's knowledge of crystals and jewelry."
She continued, saying, "I don't have a favorite piece since I adore the head-to-toe Swarovski x Skims ensembles that can be made by stacking body jewelry and intimates with ready-to-wear that are covered in hundreds and hundreds of crystals. One of my best memories from the campaign was styling the traditional cotton intimates from Skims under the sparkling stretch net dress and body jewelry. I adore wearing the dress covered in crystals with jewelry, and the sportier cotton pieces contrast so beautifully with it."
