LVMH's sales rises 23% to €79.2 billion in FY22.

In FY22, the profit from recurring operations increased by 23% to €21.1 billion. The company's portion of the group's net profit was €14.1 billion, up 17% from FY21.

The operating margin for the business was unchanged from FY21 levels. In addition, operating free cash flow in FY22 exceeded €10 billion, according to a press release from LVMH.

In FY22, LVMH's fashion and leather goods had record sales with a 25% revenue increase (20 percent on an organic basis). Profit from ongoing business activities increased by 22%.

For the first time, Louis Vuitton's revenue reached €20 billion in FY22.

Le Bon Marché by LVMH continued to create novel ideas and profit from returning devoted French clients and visitors from abroad.

The company saw a substantial increase in business in Europe, the US, and Japan as a result of strong domestic consumer demand and the rebound in foreign travel. Because of changes in China's health situation during the course of the year, Asia remained stable.

"Our performance in 2022 reflects the remarkable appeal of our masons and their capacity to inspire demand amid a year affected by economic and geopolitical problems," said Bernard Arnault, chairman, and CEO of LVMH. The company's earnings and revenue both increased significantly. Our growth strategy, which is based on the complementary nature of our activities and the geographic diversity of those activities, promotes innovation, the excellence of our creations, and the distribution of those creations, and it adds a cultural and historical dimension because of the heritage of our masons.
