The Brazilian native began modeling in 2009 and quickly rose to prominence. Casting agents flocked to sign her during her debut runway season. Soon, she walked the same New York catwalks as Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, and Michael Kors.

Despite having worked for numerous companies, Ribeiro is perhaps most recognized for her years as a Victoria's Secret Angel. With the exception of 2012 due to an injury, she participated in every Victoria's Secret Fashion Show from 2010 to 2018.
