The Marina Chain collection of jewelry was recently unveiled by Gucci. The Italian luxury brand collaborated with famous photographer David Sims on a campaign with Daria Werbowy that was inspired by the sea to mark its debut.

Daria is pictured wearing gold jewelry that reflects the nautical theme and includes an anchor chain-inspired necklace, bracelet, and a sculptural earring in enormous proportions. She is wearing bikini bottoms with Gucci's characteristic interlocking G on them.
As creative director Sabato De Sarno's debut jewelry collection for the brand, its poignancy is evident. The campaign and those that surround it are a celebration of all the designer stands for, drawing inspiration from Sabato's fashion debut all those years ago.

The line features a distinctive design that was first made as a bracelet in the late 1960s and was inspired by the chain of an anchor. The Marina Chain for Gucci has subsequently evolved into a defining characteristic of the house's history and is a significant component of Gucci's jewelry collection. The campaign, which was filmed in Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, tries to capture Sabato's distinct aesthetic.

The Marina Chain line is a lead-up to de Sarno's first ready-to-wear collection for the company, which will make its debut during Milan Fashion Week in the spring of 2024.
