SI Swimsuit
The 50th anniversary issue of the SI Swimsuit Issue included Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal, and American model Lily Aldridge in a stunning photo shoot. The veteran Victoria's Secret Angel later made two additional appearances in the magazine in 2015 and 2016 after her cover appearance. She went to Turks & Caicos with photographer James Macari for a stunning shoot along the white sand beaches and in the brilliant blue waters for her third straight feature.
Even in her third year, the model stated that the event still didn't "seem real" despite her "excitement" about returning. The styling for the photo session included several vivid, neon bikinis, which contrasted well with the Turks and Caicos water's "so blue and so beautiful," as she remarked on set. With this as your backdrop, it's challenging to take a poor photo.
Aldridge raved that the feature was "so much fun," and that it was more than just a chance to pose for some "magical photos." Each year, she was able to create "memories that you keep forever" with the SI Swimsuit family.
Even if the model's third feature was undoubtedly memorable for her, it was even more so for us. We're thinking back on that amazing trip right now and all the wonderful memories it brought. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the tropical vacation.
