Adriana Lima Says 'Every Woman Can Feel Sexy'

Lima, 42, says her heart belongs to one bra design after many years and various bras: the push-up. "I always love one," she says exclusively to PEOPLE

The Push-Up Demi Bra is the centerpiece of Victoria's Secret's new collection, The Icon by Victoria's Secret, which includes additional pieces that celebrate a variety of shapes and sizes (32A-44DDD and XS-XXL, to be specific). It will be available on August 10th.

Lima is one of the campaign's many prominent faces (Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, and Candice Swanepoel are all returning to the company for this). It also features Adut Akech, Hailey Bieber, Paloma Elsesser, Sui He, and Emily Ratajkowski) adores the collection because it "enhances your natural shape and makes you feel comfortable." And, true to its name, it makes you feel like an icon, she explains.

"The name speaks a lot about you. "Every woman has the potential to be an icon," Lima argues. "It's all about being one of a kind." Everyone has their own style of expressing their feelings and themselves – it is your originality that distinguishes you."

The line also includes panties, lingerie, slips, and robes, as well as a Push-Up Plunge bra that raises and "is customized to enhance the wearer's natural shape," according to a press release.

“I think as a woman, we need to embrace and support each other. Sometimes you see that women don't [do that], but I think it's important to change that because, well, we need to change the world.”

Lima's second major work with Victoria's Secret since rekindling her bond with the brand in April is the Icon campaign. Lima, whose reintroduction coincided with the release of Heavenly Eau de Parfum, told PEOPLE at the time that her return was a "wish" come true. She is still filled with thanks and joy four months later. 

"Working for Victoria's Secret for 20 years was truly a dream come true." It felt great to get the call asking me to return. "It's an honor to be back," adds the Brazilian native, who became an Angel in 2000.

She became a mother of three after walking in her final Victoria's Secret fashion show in 2018, welcoming her and her boyfriend Andre Lemmer's son Cyan in September 2022. (She has two daughters with her ex-husband Marko Jari, Sienna, and Valentina.)
