For the runway spectacular, the Bronx-born designer turned a large room at the Brooklyn Navy Yard into a wood-floored, canvas-draped artist's loft. He then hosted a seated dinner for 250 guests in a reinvented barn setting that was inspired by his 16,000-acre Double RL Ranch in Colorado.
Bold-faced guests like Gabrielle Union, Robin Wright, Kevin Love, Sheryl Crow, Ariana DeBose, Leo Woodall, Meghann Fahy, Amanda Seyfried, and Cara Delevingne mingled and chatted while chowing down on classics like RRL filet mignon and grilled lobster salad from Ralph's Polo Bar, followed by his decadent brownie a la mode.
The 83-year-old arbiter of elegance sent out a collection of her best looks, from shimmering gowns in the style of the Great Gatsby to embellished denim skirts and pinstriped suits.
Christy Turlington, a supermodel, finished the parade wearing a sleek silver evening gown.
