Robot dog undresses a model on the Coperni Fall Winter 2023

Coperni's Fall-Winter 2023 performance at the Théâtre National de la Danse is based on Jean de la Fontaine's French fable Le Loup et l'Agneau (The Wolf and the Lamb). The scene becomes more dramatic as five robotic dogs with glowing blue eyes roam the stage in search of prey.
One of the five kids interacted with model Rianne Van Rompaey by removing her coat. Then it took Kate Moss's daughter, model Lila Moss's, handbag and returned it to her. The robots applauded the audience at the end of the show. The presence of robots conveys a message about the relationship between humans and technology.
With leather reworked t-shirts, rubber Bridge boots, silver skirts, and a variety of long coats, the collection builds on a chic aesthetic. According to Vogue, creative director Sébastien Meyer stated that the fashion house was under a lot of pressure following the success of the show last September with Bella Hadid's unique spray-painted skirt performance. "We weren't expecting the reaction. Coperni gained over 300,000 followers overnight, and sales increased dramatically compared to last season "Sébastien Meyer stated.
Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, Coperni's CEO and co-founder, have worked with Boston Dynamics, an advanced robotics company, for the past six months. In January, the two flew to Boston, Massachusetts, to "meet" the robot dogs. Boston Dynamics marketing and communications director Nikolas Noel, who runs one of the shows, says the robots have been practicing the choreographed moves for weeks.

This is not the robot's first performance with a model. In the spring-summer 1999 show, Alexander McQueen made a splash by allowing a robot to spray paint on supermodel Shalom Harlow's dress. The giant robot walked the runway with supermodel Irina Shayk at Philipp Plein's Autumn-Winter 2018 show.
